A report of Trespass of Real Property at Watson Hall. One non-studentjJailed.

A report of Vandalism of Property in Parking Lot “G”. The victim reports their vehicle was “keyed.”
04-04-08
A report of a Motor Vehicle Theft at The Cottage Road. The City was out with the stolen vehicle on unrelated charges at the time the stolen vehicle information was sent to law enforcement. One non-student was jailed by the Florence City Police.

A report of Failure to Comply with Directions of a University Official at the Village Apartments. Four students referred to Student Affairs.
A report of State Property Damage at Alumni Drive. The Subject will pay restitution to the University.
A report of Liquor Law Violation in Parking Lot “C”. Two students issued State Tickets and referred to Student Affairs. One non-student issued a State Ticket.
A report of Conduct that Threatens Health/Safety at Forest Villas. One student referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Possession of Beer under 21 at the Florence Civic Center. One student issued a State Ticket by Florence Police and referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Possession of Beer under 21 and Altered Drivers License on Alumni Drive. Two students referred to Student Affairs. One student issued a State Ticket for the Altered DL.
A report of Theft from a Motor Vehicle and Vandalism to Personal Property on The Cottage Road near the outdoor pool. Two vehicles were “keyed”. One of the two vehicles was entered through an unsecured door and personal property was stolen.

A report of Disorderly Conduct on The Cottage Road near the Village Apartments. The subject shoved the victim after a minor accident.

A report of Driving under the Influence and Possession/Consumption of Alcohol under 21 on Alumni Drive. One student jailed and referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Assault at the Wendy’s Restaurant off campus on East Palmetto. One student jailed on warrant served by FCSO and referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Theft from a Motor Vehicle in Lot “C”. The victim had a laptop stolen from their vehicle.

A report of Noise Violation, Drivers License Violation and Failure to Comply on Wallace Woods Road. State Tickets issued to one non-student and one student. The student was referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Vandalism at Forest Villas. Apartment designation letters were removed from the wall of building.
A report of a Larceny at the Community Center. The victim reported a cell phone stolen. The phone was later recovered and one student referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Vandalism of State Property at the Housing Office. An office window was damaged by a BB/pellet round.
A report of Unauthorized Use of FMU Facilities at Lee Nursing Building. Four students referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Accidental Personal Property Damage in Lot “C”. Battery cables burned when car was jumped by another party.

A report of Theft from a Building at LSF. The victim reported an unsecured text book stolen. Unfounded, the book was later recovered from someone who secured it.
A report of Excessive Noise Violation at Forest Villas Courtyard. Four students referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Littering near Fine Arts. One student issued a State Ticket and referred to Student Affairs.

A report of a Weapon Law Violation and Violation of Written FMU Policy at Alumni Drive. One student referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Theft of a Golf Cart at Smith University Center. The cart was later recovered near the Forest Villas.

A report of Liquor Law Violation in Lot “E”. Two students issued State Tickets, one of the two jailed. Both students were referred to Student Affairs.
A report of Suspended License Plate in Lot “A”. One non-student issued a State Ticket and the vehicle was towed.
A report of Excessive Noise Violation at Forest Villas. Two students referred to Housing.
A report of Larceny of Property at Lot “C”. The victim reported their purse stolen. Unfounded, the purse was recovered at a nearby gas station having been turned in there by the finder.
A report of Vandalism to Personal Property at Lot “F”. The victim reported their vehicle keyed.
A report of Excessive Noise Violation at Forest Villas. Referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Possession of Marijuana and Drivers License Violation on Wallace Woods Road. Two non-students issued State Tickets.

A report of Liquor Law Violations on Wallace Woods Road. Two non-students issued State Tickets.
A report of Theft from a Building at CEMC. A Housing portable radio was reported stolen. Unfounded, the radio was located.
A report of Theft from a Building at Media Center. The victim reported a camera and MP-3 player stolen from their office.
A report of Theft from a Motor Vehicle at Lot “G”. The victim reported a stereo stolen from their unlocked vehicle.

A report of Theft from a Building at LSF. The victim reports a text book stolen, Unfounded the book was recovered from the person who secured the book.

A report of Breach of Peace at Forest Villas. Two students jailed and referred to Student Affairs.

A report of Possession of Altered ID at Forest Villas. The false ID was located in an empty apartment.
05-02-08
A report of Bad Check at Ervin Dining Hall. A non-student wrote a check without sufficient funds. Warrant being sought from the County Magistrate.

A report of Breach of Peace at Lot “G”. A non-student was escorted off campus.
05-05-08
A report of State Property Damage at Village Apartments. A walkway light was damaged. Referred to Facilities Maintenance.
The Campus Police responded to ten (10) requests for Medical Assistance during this period.
If something looks suspicious or doesn’t feel right, report it to campus police at 1109. You don’t need to give your name but give us the chance to ensure that you and other campus community members stay safe.
FOUND PROPERTY
FMUPD currently has several bicycles that were left unattended or found on campus. If you are missing a bicycle and can provide some identifying information for your missing property, contact Lt. Ken Pittman at 843-661-1117.
