Human Resources Assistant

(08-71)

 

Performs a variety of advanced secretarial and administrative duties for the Human Resources Office, including but not limited to:

 

  • Managing the reception area, including phone calls.
  • Assisting in the application, interviewing and hiring process for faculty and staff positions.
  • Assisting with the management of human resources information.
  • Preparing correspondence regarding available University positions.

 State Requirements: A high school diploma and clerical or administrative experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

 

FMU Preferred Requirements: A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred. Experience in Human Resources or office management preferred. Use of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, is required. In addition, experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases is required. Experience in Access and Sequel is preferred.

Salary: $24,881
