Assistant Professor of Biology

(10-01)

 The Department of Biology seeks an ecologist for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in fall 2010. A Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The successful applicant will teach ecology and freshman biology courses or other courses depending on expertise. Research interests in terrestrial systems and/or vertebrate animals preferred. Research activities that can include undergraduate students are encouraged. Duties also include academic advising and university service.  

 

Materials Needed:  1) Letter of intent (referencing #10-1) expressing teaching and research interests, 2) completed FMU Faculty application form, 3) curriculum vitae, 4) copies of all transcripts (official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate), and 5) 3 letters of reference (may be sent separately).
