(Temporary Grant Position)
The Department of Biology is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform lab work in conjunction with a grant. The successful applicant will work in two research labs and be part of the research team in each lab. This position is renewable for up to five years, dependent upon grant funding. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Maintaining cell cultures;
· Performing biochemical assays;
· Managing lab supplies;
· Managing animal care;
· Maintaining lab equipment; and
· Supervising undergraduates.

Preferred Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s is preferred. Laboratory experience with cellular and molecular techniques is desired.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
