Assistant Professor of Sociology(13-02)

Francis Marion University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of sociology position, to begin August, 2013.  Teaching responsibilities include survey research, families, racial and ethnic minorities.  Most members of the department teach the introductory course.  Current teaching load is 3:4.  Ongoing productive research is expected and supported.  Department faculty and curricula can be viewed at http://www.fmarion.edu/academics/sociology.

Completed Ph.D. in sociology by August, 2013, is expected.
