Accountant/Cashier

(13-47)

 

Under limited supervision, supervises the collection and deposit of all University receipts.  Supervises the appropriate recording of all receipt transactions in both the on-line and batch systems.  Responsible for all related records.  Assists with multi-accounting functions. Performs related duties.

 

State Requirements: A high school diploma and related financial experience.  A bachelor’s degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for the required work experience.

 

FMU Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree with nine (9) semester hours in accounting related courses.  Considerable knowledge of the principles and theories of accounting.  Working knowledge of standard office equipment.  Skill in the use of mathematical concepts.

 

State Classification: Accountant/Fiscal Analyst I  (AD20)

 

Band/Level: 4/1

 

Salary: $25,627.00

 

Normal Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).  Summer hours may vary.
