On behalf of the FMU African American Faculty and Staff Coalition, I would like to welcome you to the Coalition's page!
The goal of this organization is to create an atmosphere of community for faculty and staff members of African -American descent. The Coalition examines the recruitment and retention of African American faculty and staff and plan events toward strengthening our connections on campus.
As envisioned by our founders, the Coalition is steadfast in fulfilling its purpose: to stimulate and enhance cultural awareness, and to promote professional development and welfareamong faculty, staff and students. With the support and encouragement of President L. Fred Carter and our currentadministration, the Coalition strives to achieve ourmission and enhance the endeavors of the University.
