NSSE Sampling

The NSSE is administered by the National Survey of Student Engagement organization using population data on newly enrolled freshmen and graduating seniors provided by the Office of Institutional Research.  The NSSE organization selects a stratified random sample using basic demographic characteristics and approaches the selected respondents by email and/or mail.  The response rates for the 2007 survey are:
