Senior Administrative Assistant – Financial Assistance

(13-60)

 

Serves as an office manager for the department of Financial Assistance.  Handles a high volume of paperwork, phone calls, and “walk-ins.”

 

Performs a variety of complex and varied administrative functions including but not limited to: 

  • communication with prospective students and parents
  • reviewing of tax returns and other financial aid documents
  • coordination of office projects
  • database management  

 

State Requirements: High School diploma 

 

FMU Preferred Requirements: Bachelors degree.  High degree of proficiency in computer technologies.  Must be able to set priorities.

 

State Classification: Administrative Specialist II

 

Band/Level: 3/2

 

Salary: $23,694

 

Normal Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday).  Summer hours may vary.  May require weekends.
