The Department of Mathematics is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in applied mathematics or statistics, but applications in pure mathematics will be considered. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by August 2014 and a strong record of or potential for teaching. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses with activities in scholarship and service expected. Some teaching experience is preferred, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching is required. Ability to use and teach with technology is recommended.
