Serves as an office manager for the department of Financial Assistance. Handles a high volume of paperwork, phone calls, and "walk-ins." Performs a variety of complex and varied administrative functions including, but not limited to:
Communicating with prospective students and parents;
Reviewing of tax returns and other financial aid documents;
Coordinating office projects; and
State Requirements: High School diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
FMU Preferences: Bachelor's degree. High degree of proficiency in computer technologies. Must be able to set priorities.
State Classification: Administrative Specialist II
Normal Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday). Summer hours may vary. May require weekends.
