Development Coordinator (14-20)


Responsible for supporting and administering components of the University development activities, including the Annual Fund, donor/alumni events, gift solicitation, community relations, and development research.  Responsible for planning and implementing a variety of events in support of the University, specifically for Community Affairs and the Office of Development.  Other major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting prospective donor research;
  • Updating donor and alumni records; and
  • Performing or overseeing a variety of administrative tasks and projects for Community Affairs and the Office of Development.


Expected Start Date: February 1, 2014


State Requirements: A high school diploma.  Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.


FMU Preferences: Bachelor's Degree and experience with university development operations.  Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Word and Excel.  Knowledge of and experience with data base management.


State Classification: Administrative Specialist II


Band/Level: 3/2


Salary: Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and state guidelines.
