Francis Marion University invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track position as the director of a new MS in Physician Assistant Studies program at FMU. The director will be responsible for hiring new faculty and ensuring the program meets expectations for accreditation by ARC-PA before a projected start date of August 2016. This is an exciting opportunity for a PA with teaching and administrative experience to develop a new program which will emphasize preparing students for rural practice. The PA program will be housed in a new, state-of-the-art Health Sciences building in downtown Florence along with other health profession programs.
Qualifications: Master's degree and current NCCPA certification or board-certified MD. Experience teaching in a PA program is essential along with clinical and administrative experience.
