Instructor of Chemistry (14-47)

 

One-year, full-time non-tenure track position, renewable at the discretion of the University for up to two additional years.  Teaching experience preferred.


A Master's in Chemistry or at least 18 hours of graduate chemistry courses is required by August 2014.  The position involves teaching lectures and laboratories in General Chemistry I and II, typically a total of five sections per semester.


Francis Marion University is a state-supported regional university with a strong emphasis on the liberal arts.  Located in Florence, SC, a growing city with a vibrant arts culture, FM is within easy driving distance of the state capital, Columbia, the resorts of Myrtle Beach, and other areas of interest, including Charleston, Savannah, and Charlotte.


Salary: Competitive and depends on qualifications and experience


Start Date: August 2014
