All classes will meet at the assigned examination times. ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY UNLESS EXCUSED IN WRITING BY THE DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSON OR SCHOOL DEAN. Any student missing an examination without a written excuse from the Department Chairperson or School Dean will be assigned a grade of F. Examinations will be held in the same rooms as class meetings except for mass examinations. The locations of mass examinations will be announced by instructors. Students may, with the instructor's permission, take an examination with another section of the same course; no further permission is required.

EVENING CLASSES
Evening class examinations will be given according to the following schedule:

Wednesday, Dec 3
6:00 p.m. MW and 6:00 p.m. Monday courses from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
7:30 p.m. MW and 6:00 p.m. Wednesday courses from 8:10 to 10:10 p.m.

Thursday, Dec 4
6:00 p.m. TTH and 6:00 p.m. Tuesday courses from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
7:30 p.m. TTH and 6:00 p.m. Thursday courses from 8:10 to 10:10 p.m.

EDUCATION AND PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATE CLASSES
The final examinations in all graduate Education and Psychology courses (500 level or higher) will be given at the last regularly scheduled class period. The time of the examination will be announced by the instructor.

BUSINESS GRADUATE CLASSES
The final examinations will be announced by the instructor of the course.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

  1. All classes will meet at the assigned examination times. ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY UNLESS EXCUSED IN WRITING BY THE DEPARTMENT CHAIRPERSON OR SCHOOL DEAN.
  2. Final examination times are assigned on the basis of the class meeting times except for the mass examinations.
  3. Examinations will be held in the same room as class meetings except for mass examinations. The locations of mass examinations will be announced by instructors. All examination periods will meet when scheduled and will meet on campus except for off-campus courses.
  4. To avoid misunderstandings, instructors will announce times and rooms of all examinations during class meetings.
  5. Students may, with the instructor’s permission, take an examination with another section of the same course. No further permission is required.
  6. Students who have three examinations in one day may petition in writing to the Department Chairperson or School Dean to reschedule one examination only if statement 5 above cannot resolve the problem. Students should first discuss this problem with the professors involved. Problems should be resolved by Tuesday, December 2.
  7. Examination periods will be two hours or less.
  8. Any student missing an examination without a written excuse from the Department Chairperson or School Dean will be assigned a grade of F.
  9. ALL GRADUATING CANDIDATES GRADES MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE REGISTRAR’S OFFICE BY NOON ON MONDAY, Dec 8.  ALL GRADUATING CANDIDATES’ grades must be recorded on the paper rolls provided or via the Internet (Note: Senior Grading). If any candidate has an examination scheduled after that date, some arrangement must be made with the professor to take the examination at an earlier time. Problems such as this should be resolved by Tuesday, December 2.
  10. ALL GRADES MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE REGISTRAR’S OFFICE BY NOON ON WEDNESDAY, December 10.  Please record all grades on rolls (Paper or Internet) labeled “Final Grading Rolls”.

    Grades are to be recorded as follows:

         A                                     IN = Incomplete
         B+                                  CO = Continuing
         B                                     S = Satisfactory
         C+                                  U = Unsatisfactory
         C
         D+
         D
         F
