To add SC Academic Standards to your LiveText document, follow these steps:

1.  Locate the "Standards" section in your document template and click on the [Edit] button within that section.

2.  Click the [Add Standards] tab.

3.  Locate the down arrow next the the words "Select Set" and click the down arrow to reveal the standards sets available.  (NOTE:  If you do not see the standards set you are looking for, try clicking on the word "All" to the left of the "Select Set" box to see all the sets of standards which are available in LiveText.)

4.  Use the chart above to determine the abbreviated name of the desired standards set in LiveText and highlight that set in the "Select Set" drop down menu box.

5.  You may then select a particular subject within that standard set by using the "Standard Set Level l" drop down menu if desired.

6.  You may then select a particular grade level by using the "Grade(s)" drop down menu box if desired.

7.   You may also search the set of standards using a keyword using the "Keywords" search box if desired.

8.  Once you have located the standard you wish included in your document, click in the box in front of that standard.  A checkmark will appear in this box.  CONTINUE SELECTING ALL THE DESIRED STANDARDS FROM THOSE DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN ON THIS ONE PAGE, THEN CLICK THE [ADD] BUTTON AT THE TOP OF THE STANDARDS LIST.

9.  If you desire to include other standards in your document which are not shown on the first page of standards, locate the grey area above the standards set at the right of the screen to locate additional pages of standards.  NOTE:  YOU MUST CLICK THE [ADD] BUTTON AT THE TOP OF EACH PAGE OF STANDARDS TO ADD THE CHECKED STANDARDS ON THAT PAGE TO YOUR LIVETEXT DOCUMENT BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE NEXT PAGE OF STANDARDS.

10. When you have finished adding all of the desired SC Academic Standards to your LiveText document, scroll to the top of the page and click the [Finish] button.
