Mr. James Christian
Instructor, Speech Communication

James Christian received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the College of Charleston in 1997 and a Master of Public Administration from the joint University of South Carolina - University of Charleston program in 2000. In 2004, he received a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.

Christian's professional experience includes technical writing in the software development industry, Web development, and computer-based training development. He served as president of the South Carolina chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. Christian retired as a Senior Technical Writer in 2001.

He teaches Public Speaking and Media Ethics courses.
