The Francis Marion University Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty announces a Call for submission for the 2013 Essay Contest. The topic for the Essay contest is “Effective Strategies for Teaching Children of Poverty”. The deadline for submission is March 18, 2013. Please see attachments for guidelines and contest details. The essay contest is open to ALL FMU students and P-12 Teachers in COE partner districts. Cash awards will be given to the authors of the four best essays that meet all contest criteria and receive the highest scores.
