Presentation on Poverty




Dr. Tammy Pawloski, Director of the Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty, gives a presentation on the statistics and effects of poverty on learning.

Included in Dr. Pawloski's presentation was a True or False quiz to see how much students really knew about poverty.  On the left, student groups held up signs to indicate their answers after a brief discussion among themselves.  On the right, Dr. Pawloski listens to one group explain why they answered the question as they did.
