What's my PIN number for LiveText?

I click on the Dashboard tab, but my courses aren't there.  How do I get my courses there?

How do I validate my account?

I clicked on the Courses tab, but I got an error message that said "Access is Denied."  How can I see my courses?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your PIN number for LiveText is the LAST FIVE DIGITS OF YOUR FMU ID NUMBER.  Back to the list of questions

 

 

  Somehow, the information you provided when you registered or set up your account does NOT match the information about the courses and class rosters loaded into LiveText for the current semester. 

1.  Use Mozilla Firefox web browser to log in to LiveText at http://c1.livetext.com.  (Note there is NO www. in the web address.)
 
2.  In the upper right corner of the screen, look for [My Account].  Click on [My Account].
 
3.  When the next screen appears, look for the [Student Information] section on the left side of the screen and click the [Edit] button on the right side of the screen, opposite to the section heading [Student Information].
 
4.  In the [Student ID] box, enter your complete Social Security number WITHOUT dashes.  Click [Save].

5.  In the [School PIN] box, enter the LAST FIVE DIGITS of your FMU ID number.
 
5.  Log out of your account and then log back in again.  Your courses should show on the Dashboard tab now.
 
6.  If you're still having trouble seeing courses on your Dashboard, telephone LiveText Technical support at 1-866-548-3839, ext. 708 (free call) between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM Eastern time, Monday through Friday.  You may also email them at the following address: support@livetext.com.  Tell them that you can't see you Dashboard, that you have corrected your Student ID to be your SSN, and ask that they match your account.  They will make the necessary changes to enable your Dashboard.

You validate your account by entering your "School Provided PIN" which for FMU is the LAST FIVE DIGITS OF YOUR FMU ID NUMBER.
Follow these directions to validate your account:

1.  Use Mozilla Firefox web browser to log in to LiveText at http://c1.livetext.com.  (Note there is NO www. in the web address.)
 
2.  In the upper right corner of the screen, look for [My Account].  Click on [My Account].
 
3.  When the next screen appears, look for the [School Information] section on the left side of the screen and click the [Edit] button on the right side of the screen, opposite to the section heading [School Information].

4.  In the [School provided PIN] box, enter the LAST FIVE DIGITS of your FMU ID number.  Click [Save].  The word "Validated" should appear beside the "Student ID" now.
 
5.  Click on your Dashboard tab and you should see your courses now.
