Ms. Laura Morris

Laura Morris joined the FMU faculty as an Assistant Professor in 2005, after completing her MFA at West Virginia University.  She teaches composition and is currently working on a novel and a collection of short stories.  In her writing, she explores the lives of people who live on the edges of society, the power of family history in a person's life, and the many different ways people live with religion.  She one day hopes to own a cat, preferably a Maine Coon.
