Mr. Shawn Miller
M.A. University of Virginia

 

miller_s Shawn Miller holds the BA in English from James Madison University and the MA in English from the University of Virginia. He is currently finishing up requirements for the PhD at the University of Mississippi. He comes to Francis Marion after four years teaching writing and literature in the University of Wisconsin system. He specializes in modern and contemporary American literature, with a particular emphasis in the literature of the American South, and he is especially interested in how Southern literature has been and continues to be defined. His articles have appeared in the Southern Literary Journal and Southern Quarterly.
