Dr. Rebecca Flannagan

Dr. Flannagan came to FMU in 1995. She teaches American literature, poetry workshop, introduction to literature, as well as all varieties of freshman composition. She currently serves as FMU’s Faculty Chair. She won the FMU Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2004 and the Charlene Wages Shared Governance Award in 2008. Dr. Flannagan runs twenty miles a week and enjoys writing, singing, and spending time with her son, Wickham. Her husband, Roy, teaches English at the Governor’s School for Science and Math.
