Dr. Flannagan came to FMU in 1995. She teaches American literature, poetry workshop, introduction to literature, as well as all varieties of freshman composition. She serves as Director for the Swampfox Writing Project . Dr. Flannagan runs twenty miles a week and enjoys writing, singing, and spending time with her fifteen-year-old son, Wickham. Her husband, Roy, teaches English at the Governor’s School for Science and Math.
