A native of West Virginia, Mrs. Harper joined Francis Marion University in October 2010. She and her husband, Andy, enjoy spending time with their daughters, Kaitlin and Amanda, both of whom play softball. Kaitlin is also a member of the FMU Cheerleading Squad.
