HONORS AMBASSADORS ABROAD: 2008
For the third year, President Carter is sponsoring an exciting opportunity for FMU Honors students. Four students (one freshman, one sophomore, one junior, and one senior) will be selected to represent FMU in general, and our Honors Program in particular, to our sister institutions (Ludwigshafen and Schmalkalden) in Germany. These four students, and Dr. Rooks and Dr. Harding, will travel from March 6 - 15, 2008 (Spring Break). We'll have time in Mainz, Speyer, Worms, Heidelberg, Eisenach, Erfurt, and Weimar. FMU will cover most of the travel expenses: Air and train fares, hotels, $32 a day towards meal costs. Travelers will be responsible for additional costs, including the passport application fee of $97 (+ $60 for expedited delivery).
