Before applying for an Exchange Program, you must first be approved by the International Studies office at your home institution. Once approved, you may begin the formal application process to FMU:
1. Contact the Program Liaison or the Coordinator of International Studies at FMU (Jon Tuttle at firstname.lastname@example.org) to let him know you will be sending in an application.
2. Visit the Admissions web site and Download the International Student Application form.
3. Send the completed application form, transcript (English translation is preferred), and Statement of Finances to the Program Liaison or the Coordinator of International Studies.
4. Once you have been accepted by FMU, you will receive an official letter of acceptance, an immunization form, and a housing application. Please complete these forms as soon as possible.
All international students must bring with them an official vaccination record indicating they have received vaccinations for tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, and rubella, as well as proof of a tuberculin test taken within twelve months of their arrival at FMU. In the case of a positive tuberculin test, the student is required to have a negative chest X-ray.
