This course examines the marketing management decision making process. Focus is upon the critical thinking related to the role of marketing within an organization. Topics include customer research, segmentation, target marketing, positioning, the marketing mix, and marketing metrics.

Dr. Lawrimore holds the N.B. Baroody Professorship in Marketing, and serves as both the Director of the MBA program as well as the Coordinator of the Marketing Faculty.  A long-term member of the faculty, she was elected in 2013 as “Distinguished Professor,” the highest university-level accolade which can be conferred upon a member of the faculty.  Her research has appeared in the Atlantic Economic Journal, the ninth edition of Strategic Management, and the Carolinas Business Review, as well as other professional journals.
