To check out and read e-books provided by netLibrary, create a free netLibrary account from a PC in Rogers Library or any location on campus prior to attempting to log in from off-campus.
Electronic Databases
With a valid* FMU ID card currently enrolled FMU students, FMU faculty and staff, and current FMU Alumni Association members may access most of the Library's subscription databases from off-campus. Follow these simple steps:
Go to the Journal Articles and Databases Page
Click on the database that you wish to search.
Type in your name and press the Tab Key. Either "first name last name" or "last name first name" format is acceptable.
Type the last 6 digits of the 13-digit library barcode number, which appears below the barcode itself on the front of your FMU ID card. Ignore the A's or a's which may appear at the beginning and end of the number.
Click the submit button (or press the Enter Key.)
* If you have never used your current ID card to check out books, please go to the Library Circulation Desk to have your card validated.
