School of Education

Ron Fulkenberry

Welcome to Francis Marion University's School of Education. I am pleased to introduce you to an array of excellent and exciting educational programs.

Francis Marion University, located in Florence, South Carolina--60 miles from Myrtle Beach, is a safe campus where the classes are small and teaching is student centered. The School of Education has a superb faculty, most with their terminal degrees from some of the most prestigious graduate institutions in the nation. All programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Our support staff is always eager to be of assistance in seeking answers to any questions our students might have about their educational programs, campus regulations, and FMU life in general. Our graduates are accepted into graduate and professional schools, have ready access to teaching positions in area public and independent schools, and are highly recommended by their employers.

If you are seeking a baccalaureate degree or a masters level degree in education, then read further. If you are just browsing, I hope you are impressed with what you see and will tell others and share our address with them.

Dr. J. Ron Faulkenberry, C.H.E.S.
