All-Campus Tutoring Center
Testing various techniques for page development.

A free service available to all registered students, the All-Campus Tutoring Center (ACTC) employs student tutors who have the same professors as you and often major or minor in their respective subjects.  They are required to have a 3.0 GPA and are sophomores or higher.

The Tutoring Center has moved to LSF L107 for the Fall 2012 semester, and we anticipate staying in this room for the foreseeable future. The ACTC offers assistance in

  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Business/Accounting
  • Computer Science
  • Physical Science
  • English
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Writing
  • and possibly other subjects

*There may be changes to this list that occur with each new school year.

The Tutoring Center is open Monday to Thursday from 12 to 8 p.m. Tutoring is currently done on a drop-in basis. When you come to the Tutoring Center, please sign in with whatever tutor is assisting you, using your student ID number (have your number or your student ID card available).

For questions and comments about the ACTC or this website, please contact Dr. Julian Buck at 843-661-1577 or jbuck@fmarion.edu. If you are interested in working for the ACTC as a tutor, please see Dr. Buck in LSF L402 or email him to obtain an application form.
