How do I get connected?
Your computer should find the wireless network when you go into a wireless coverage area. Be sure to select the FMU_Users wireless network.
Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer; you will be redirected to a web site to connect you to the network.
Due to the wide variety of network printers and associated drivers, we do not provide network printing to wireless users. Network printing is provided to University owned computers which have been configured to work with those departments' networked printers.
How do I get additional support?
On-site wireless user support is offered to wireless users. Campus Technology provides you with wireless technical support, through the phone, walk in, our web site, and email. You may contact the Campus Technology HelpDesk at extension 1111 to receive phone support. For personal assistance, please visit the Help Desk located in the Stanton Academic Computer Center, Room 108. Our web site provides documentation and contact information (Email: HelpDesk@fmarion.edu) to help wireless users get the support they need.
