Hi, my name is Britton Reaves. I am one of the newest Admissions Counselors here at Francis Marion University. I am here to help you as you advance in your academic careers. These decisions can sometimes be difficult, and I will do my best to guide you and help you become a successful student at FMU.
I grew up in Florence, SC and am a graduate of South Florence HIgh School. I decided to attend Francis Marion because of the small calss sizes, the hometown atmosphere, and the academic standsrds that the reputation holds. I began my freshman year as an education major, but after taking several different courses I realized that there was a better route for me. I decided to major in Psychology with a minor in History. I also participated in many activities such as Greek life, intramurals, orientations and campus ministries. I found my niche at FMU, and I think that you will be able to as well.
