Hello all, my name is Steven and I’m a recent graduate of FMU. As an Admissions counselor, I am here to help prepare you to take the next step in your educational career. I know what it’s like making the difficult decisions of what to do after high school. If you ever have any questions about FMU please do not hesitate to email me or to call me. I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida but attended high school in Sumter, South Carolina. I knew I had to have a degree to be successful in life. I needed a school with great opportunities in a personal environment. FMU has all the benefits of a big school in a small school setting. For the first two years I didn’t have a clue as to what I wanted to major in so I took as many different classes as I could to decide what I liked best. Finally I decided on a B.A. in History with a minor in Philosophy and Religious studies. As a student I worked on campus so my job worked around my classes and put plenty of money in my pocket. I also played intramural soccer every semester with the guys that lived on my hallway. FMU was a perfect fit for me and could be for you as well.
