Territory: The Upstate of South Carolina including the following counties: Cherokee, Chester, Lancaster, Laurens, Newberry, Spartanburg, Union and York.

I’m Lisa Mitchell.

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to Florence, South Carolina when I was in the third grade. Living in the Pee Dee, I was introduced to Francis Marion through many Arts Alive Festivals and the Sandhills Regional Science Fair. I distinctly remember a tour that I took in 7^th grade to Francis Marion. It was and still is a beautiful campus, and it has grown so much since then. I graduated from Trinity Collegiate School and went on to Winthrop University to obtain a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Business and Media.

I value Francis Marion because the university is dedicated to one-on-one attention with an average class size of 21. With over 40 programs of study to choose from, you are sure to find the perfect one if you are undecided.

Planning for college is not easy, and I know the whole process of applying and waiting can be stressful, but that is why I am so excited to be able to help you!
