Welcome to Francis Marion University! We are excited you have chosen to attend FMU and look forward to meeting you during one of our summer orientations.

Orientation at Francis Marion University is meant to educate incoming students on different aspects of the campus including academics and campus life.  We at Francis Marion University want to see students succeed, and Orientation is meant to equip the student with the information needed to navigate successfully through the many programs and services offered by FMU.

 
Who Should Attend Orientation?
 
Only students admitted by the University should attend. Orientation is required of all new students to FMU.
 
Which Orientation should I sign-up for?
 
 If you are coming in as a new freshmen and are under the age of 21 then you will need to attend one of the two-day Freshman Orientations.  The one-day orientation is for transfer, non-traditional, and military veteran students who will be attending FMU.
