Francis Marion Academic Fellows Scholarship
Award = $500 - $2,500
The Fellows scholarship is awarded after the scholarship application has been received and upon the recommendation of faculty and student on-campus interviews. This award given is an additional $500-$1500 to the Distinction scholarships awarded at the time of admission. The award is renewable for 4 years with the student completing 30 semester hours a year and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
To be eligible, you must have:

A GPA of 3.0 and above

1100 SAT (critical reading and math) or 24 ACT composite score(s) or higher

An invitation to interview on-campus with our faculty
Awarded after all interviews have been completed - after April 1st.
Scholarship deadline is March 28.
Francis Marion Academic Patriot Scholarship
Award = $5,000
The Patriot scholarship is our most prestigious academic scholarship. It is awarded after the scholarship application has been received and upon the recommendation of faculty and student on-campus interviews. This award given is an additional $4,000 to the Distinction scholarship awarded at the time of admission. The award caps at $5,000 per academic year and is renewable for students for 4 years by completing 30 semester hours a year and maintaining a 3.0 GPA.

Only one scholarship application needs to be completed to be considered for any of the scholarships (Fellows, Patriot, and/or Education Fellows scholarship).
