Francis Marion Education Fellow Scholarship
The Francis Marion Education Fellow scholarship is awarded after the scholarship application has been received and upon the recommendation of faculty and student on-campus interviews. The total amount of the Education Fellow Scholarship is $5,000. This scholarship is given to a student who is a part of the Teacher Cadet program in S.C.; however, preference is given to a student who is a part of a Teacher Cadet program sponsored by FMU.
The Office of Admissions is now accepting applications.
To be eligible, you must have:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have a combined Pre-March 2016 SAT Score (Critical Reading and Math) of 1100 or higher; combined New SAT Score (Evidence Based Reading & Writing and Math) of 1160 or higher; or a 24 or higher ACT Score
- Attended an on-campus interview
- Be a part of a Teacher Cadet program in South Carolina
*Scholarship deadline for the incoming class of Fall 2017 is March 15, 2017.
*The Education Fellow Scholarship is awarded after all on-campus interviews have been completed. Scholarship award notifications are usually sent out the first week of April.
