Please complete the application below as well as the following:

A. If chosen as a McNair Scholar, one of the primary advantages is the ability to study abroad for a semester. Please discuss your view on the benefits of such an experience. How do you feel studying abroad will develop you personally and professionally, especially as you think about your future career goals?

B. The McNair Scholars Program is designed to focus a student's educational experiences around not only classroom education but service learning (including public service and community engagement) opportunities as well. In your opinion, how can learning be enhanced through service to others? In your answer, make sure to address how service learning opportunities will contribute to your future career goals and the public service activities you envision pursuing.
