Director of Admissions (17-88)
Brief Description: Plans and directs the functions of the Office of Admissions. Works closely with the Associate Provost for Enrollment Management in administering the functions of the Admissions Office. Responsible for the recruiting of new freshmen and transfer students.
FMU Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s degree strongly preferred), preferably in Student Personnel services, or a related field, and should have at least four years of progressively responsible collegiate Admissions experience; demonstrate qualities of leadership and team building; possess excellent organizational skills; have an understanding of admissions principles and defining market niche. Must have excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule.
State Classification: Academic Program Director (UE03)
Start Date: November 1, 2017
Salary: Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Normal Working Hours: 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P. M. (Monday – Friday). Summer hours may vary.
