FMU Wind Symphony to perform in concert, Feb. 27
FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Wind Symphony will perform in concert, Tuesday, Feb. 27.
The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in the McNair Science Building auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
The program includes “William Byrd Suite” by Gordon Jacob, “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modest Mussorgsky, “Shenandoah” by Frank Ticheli, “Scenes from The Louvre” by Norman Dello Joio and “Trumpets, Ole” by Frank Cofield.
The group is directed by FMU music professor Terry Roberts.
