FLORENCE, S.C. – The Francis Marion University Cinema 2006-07 Film Series will feature Hans Weingartner’s “The Edukators” on April 10.
The film may be viewed at 3:30 and 8 p.m. in the Cauthen Educational Media Center’s Lowrimore Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
The film "The Edukators" follows three idealistic activists living in present day Germany. When Berlin student Jule gets evicted and is forced to move in with her boyfriend Peter and his slightly aloof introverted roommate Jan, she finds out about Jan and Peter's secret identity. This finding leads the three into a chain of dangerous events which leaves them as a love triangle. The Edukators presents three people trying to get by in a corrupt world.
