FMU to hold Ms. FMU pageant, April 12
FLORENCE, S.C. – On April 12, 10 female students will contend for the title of Ms. Francis Marion University.
Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the pageant will begin at 8 p.m. in the McNair Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
The theme of this year’s pageant is “Carolina Nights.” The winner will be determined based on an interview, an opening dance number and the casual and formal wear competitions during the pageant.
Pageant participants will be judged by the following FMU employees: Allyson Bigby, student services counselor for admissions; Howard Brown, senior PC/network support and training specialist; Rebecca Flannagan, associate professor of English; Brandie Hayes, director of alumni affairs; LeRoy Peterson, professor of chemistry; Cheryl Tuttle, administrative assistant for English, modern language, and philosophy; and Julian Young, assistant director of admissions.
