After winning all five of its games last week, Francis Marion University moved up four spots to 20th in this week’s Collegiate Baseball Magazine NCAA Division II Top 30 poll released late Monday (Feb. 11).

The 7-1 Patriots played host to Pfeiffer University on Tuesday (Feb. 12), before entertaining Davis & Elkins College for a three-game series this coming weekend. The squads will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. and a single game on Sunday, also at 1 p.m.

Dating back to the 2005 season, the Patriots have now appeared in 52 consecutive national polls.

The University of Tampa (6-0) continues to occupy the No. 1 position in the poll, while in addition to FMU, four other Peach Belt Conference schools appear in this week’s rankings.
