FLORENCE, SC - Francis Marion University seniors Franklyn Emmanuel and Sarka Vitkova have been named to their respective Peach Belt Conference preseason All-Conference men’s and women’s tennis teams.

Emmanuel was one of seven players on the men’s squad, while Vitkova was one of six on the women’s team.

The 25th-ranked Patriot men are current 3-0, while the 15th-ranked FMU women are 4-0. Both squads will play at Mount Olive on Sunday afternoon (1 p.m.).

Vitkova posted a 15-6 mark at the No. 1 singles spot in 2007 and compiled a 19-5 doubles record. She is currently ranked 24th nationally in singles and seventh in doubles.

Emmanuel was 13-3 in singles last year and 14-4 in doubles play. He is currently ranked 20th nationally in singles and 11th in doubles.
