-- With its mission of increasing the achievement of children of poverty by improving the quality of teacher preparation, the Francis Marion University Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty hosted its second Leadership Recognition Breakfast, honoring those who partnered with them on this charge.
On May 6, in the Ervin Dining Hall on FMU’s campus, 13 local school districts and 62 principals were recognized for their involvement with this partnership, and they shared success stories on how they benefited from it.
The school districts receiving recognition were:
