FMU to hold Ms. FMU pageant, April 2
FLORENCE, S.C. – On Thursday, April 2, six female students will contend for the title of Ms. Francis Marion University.
The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. in Chapman Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
The theme of this year’s pageant is “Moment Like This.” The winner will be determined based on an interview, an opening dance number and the casual and formal wear competitions during the pageant.
Pageant participants will be judged by the following FMU employees: Lynne Druschel, senior administrative assistant in the political science and geography/history/sociology departments; LeRoy Peterson Jr., chemistry professor; Rebecca Randall, coordinator of orientation and provisional programs; Hubert Setzler III, business professor; Derrick Young, coordinator of recreational sports and evening programs; and Angela Crosland, news writer/editor. Auditor for the pageant is FMU Business Professor Mary R. Dittman.
