FMU's Dooley Planetarium to present program, April 12

 

            FLORENCE, S.C. – The Dooley Planetarium on the campus of Francis Marion University will present a program titled “Mighty Jupiter,” Sunday, April 12. 

            The program will begin at 3 p.m. and admission is free. The planetarium, located on the second floor of the Cauthen Educational Media Center, will open its doors at 2:30 p.m., and no admittance will be allowed once viewing begins. 

            Since its opening in 1978, the planetarium has regularly shown public programs on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. The next program, titled “Saturn – Lord of the Rings,” will be presented on Sunday, April 26.
