FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University will begin Homecoming 2010 festivities with a “Patriots on Fire” bonfire and pep rally, Friday at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries building across the street from the main campus.

The event, which is open to the public free of charge, is sponsored by the FMU Student Government Association.

Students, alumni, and fans are encouraged to get ready for Saturday’s Homecoming doubleheader by celebrating with the Patriot men’s and women’s basketball teams. The 2010 Homecoming Court will also be introduced.
