FMU to host Women’s Basketball Team Camp and Shooting Clinic

FLORENCE, S.C. – First-year Francis Marion University women’s basketball coach Kate Glusko has announced that the program will host a one-day Team Camp Shootout on Saturday, June 26, and a one-day Shooting Clinic on Sunday, June 27.

The cost of the Team Camp will be $200. Opening games of the shootout will begin at 9 a.m. and each team will be guaranteed a minimum of four games. Teams will have an unlimited roster size.

The Shooting Clinic will be held from 8 a.m. until noon on June 27 for players in middle and high school. The cost will be $50, with a discounted rate of $40 if the participant took part in the previous day’s Team Camp. Participants in the Shooting Clinic will receive a T-shirt.

Glusko takes over the storied Francis Marion program after four years as a very successful Division II assistant coach. She is a graduate of West Virginia University where she played on two squads that advanced to post-season play. FMU has advanced to the NCAA National Tournament each of the past three seasons.
